audioboy and I have tried the new Davis Square Italian restaurant twice, and agree that it's time to recommend it to you.
It's on Highland Ave., on the corner near Kickass Cupcakes and When Pigs Fly Breads (which you should also check out!) They've managed to turn the interior from the sterile pizza place it was into a real dining room with dark wood tables and chairs, candles etc.
We got take out from them through Foodler.com, and then ate there last night. It should be a great option for pre-theater dining or take-out. The food is very tasty, presented beautifully, and had creative mixtures of ingredients. The waitress is very personable and friendly. The prices seem very reasonable, especially with the quality of the meals.
