The end of an era
Dec. 9th, 2009 10:32 amThanks for the input on whether to cancel my Boston Globe delivery subscription. Seems like almost no one is getting it daily anymore.
So I am scaling back to Sunday delivery only...I'll keep the coupons and the comics and Parade and maybe a little Sunday Globe magazine now and then. I am pretty sure I won't miss it. And I definitely won't miss hauling the piles of papers to the recycling bin. It will be great to have the extra money every month.
But it does feel like the end of an era...this will be the first time in my entire, rather lengthy, life that I won't have the paper on the doorstep every day.
