The Merry Month of June
Jul. 5th, 2010 03:14 pmSometimes, I have a very strong urge to blog for someone else, especially when they're doing cool stuff. I manage to suppress it most of the time, thank goodness. But today I have to write about my husband's June.
What a month it was for my dear husband! Whenever he thinks "he never accomplishes anything" I hope he will look back at the month of June 2010 and smile.
1) Theatre@First's "The Margaret Ghost"
Updated the music and sound design for revival of the play we did in 2006, and ran the sound board at 3 rehearsals and four shows in the space of a week. Plus all the stuff a main stage show requires...load-in, Q2Q, dress rehearsals, strike...all in a theater space he'd never worked in before, in a town we'd never visited before this show!
2) "Switches" and "Voyage of the Demeter"
Publicized a new audio play and an audio interlude from TaF's "Dracula" released in late May
3) Recorded "The Monkey's Paw" from PMRP's Tomes Of Terror II show
4) Recorded "The Maid's Bell" from PMRP's Tomes of Terror II show
5) "Mask of Inana"
Helped record, finish post-production and release a trailer and the first episode of a new audio drama series
6) PMRP's October live show
Worked on prep for the show, set up a meeting for interested folks, working with people on graphics, script production, play selection and possible directors
7) PMRP @ Arisia 2011
Worked on PMRP's live show for the scifi con next January, including making his own version of the "Doctor Who" musical theme and drafting a logo, and surviving a major hassle about the script
8) PMRP's "Red Shift"
Consulted on getting PMRP's original live audio drama recorded
9) "Sassafrass"
Recorded an a cappella concert for a women's vocal group to raise money for the Harvest Food Pantry
10) Made major progress on PMRP's new web site set up
11) Managed without a credit card (his number was stolen) for nearly three weeks when he usually does everything with it, and then changed the billing info on all his recurring payments
Wow! He is an amazing, creative, fabulous fellow!
I hope he forgives me for blogging for him...
