Audition for Shakespeare's "Merry Wives"

Theatre@First announces open auditions for the Fall 2005 production of
William Shakespeare's "The Merry Wives of Windsor," directed by Elizabeth Hunter.
A 2-minute Shakespearean monologue is requested, but not required.
Cold readings will also be used.
Auditions will be held on
- Monday, August 8th, 7:00 - 9:00 pm and
- Tuesday, August 9th, 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
No appointments are necessary. If you cannot attend either date, please email
auditions@theatreatfirst.org to make alternate arrangements or for more information.
Auditions will be held at the First Congregational Church, 89 College Avenue, Somerville.
Please enter from the side door on Francesa Street. The church is located 4 blocks from
the Davis Square MBTA station.
Rehearsals will begin in September, after Labor Day. Performances will occur on selected
dates between November 11-19.
About the Play: "The Merry Wives of Windsor" is a comedy featuring several of Shakespeare's
best roles for women, together with Sir John Falstaff, one of the Bard's most beloved characters.
We will be performing an adaptation of the script edited by the director and available for
download on our website.
