bex77I just realized that I have to pay attention again. To what our president-elect says and what's happening on the national stage.
For eight long years, it has been imperative for me NOT to pay attention. In order to protect myself from outrage and insanity and high blood pressure, I had to tune out. I had to stop caring, because I cared too much. Listening only made me wince and cry.
But now it seems safe to listen again, to read again, to care again. Wow...
