Cape Cod Winter mini-vacation links

For hubby's birthday last weekend, I put together a surprise mini-vacation to Cape Cod.
It was so great to get away, eat good food and stroll the shops. The best part was
soaking in the indoor whirlpool looking out over the snow. Heh.
Only an hour from Boston, there's a great little spot with a cheap hotel,
indoor pool & whirlpool, restaurants, shops and chocolate! For details,

Here's the scoop on a mini-vacation to Sandwich:
Simple Driving Directions (1 hour from Cambridge if you off-peak traffic times):
Rte 93 South to Rte 3 South, over the Sagamore Bridge
Take Exit 1 then
First right at light onto Rte 6A then 2 miles to hotel
Hotel: Sandwich Lodge

Amenities: free wifi, indoor pool & whirlpool, Cable TV, fridge & microwave
