There was a great obit in the Boston Globe today for Mitko Zagoroff. There's a nifty photo and wonderful text that explains who he was and what he was like. He was an inventor of this and that.

Many of you may remember Polly Drinkwater, the indefatigable real estate agent who helped me buy a house for E & J when they were moving home from London. She helped many folks with their homes over the years. As we rode around looking at properties, she told fun stories about her travels, and her adventures with her husband. She said "He helped Christo make his wild ideas into reality."

Mr. Zagoroff died June 9 in a fall while on a bicycle ride with his wife through the Alps in Obwalden, Switzerland.

Wow! What a full and wonderful life! I love that they don't mention it as a memorial service, it's more the sound of a family gathering "Family and friends plan to gather to celebrate Mr. Zagoroff’s life at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 27 in the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln."

Something about it being at that beautiful museum surrounded by art and invention sounds completely appropriate.
