Every which way

When you have a lot of communicating to do, it suddenly becomes clearer how many different ways there are to get information to people these days. In the past 24 hours, I have

1. called
2. texted
3. emailed
4. Facebook chatted
5. Yahoo IM'd
6. Facebook messaged
7. Posted to LiveJournal
8. FB status update
and even
9. talked face-to-face!

If you count my three different phones (home, work, mobile) and two computers (laptop @ home and desktop @work), there are even more variables.

I ponder why I use any particular mode with any person, and why there are so many.

(Yes, I am trying to keep from thinking about other things. Humor me.)

I'm the same...different people in my life receive different forms of communication. I don't know why. Perhaps the habits we all fall into.

I remember trying to count the number of email addresses I had one day - well over 30 - and I realized it was insanity. I was far too easily reached ;-)
