FYI - LJ is having trouble sending email notifications when people comment on posts. As I understand it, they've been blacklisted as spammers by several big ISPs, like Yahoo and Comcast. And they've been working to undo that, but it takes time. It didn't hit me until yesterday.

But if you depend on email to let you know if people are commenting, you should check back on those posts, because that may be the only way you can tell for awhile.

I've been responding to people's comments, and hope you see them!

See, that's funny, I've been experiencing the "comment drought" for about a week, and only just started *getting* comment emails again yesterday!

I have to say I am highly skeptical of the claim that the problem lies in getting spam-blacklisted. Gmail hasn't been spam-filtering the notices at all, they just stopped showing up. -- Though, hmm, I wonder if I have notifications sent to my brandeis forwarding address, which I *do* think filters at the server level before stuff ever gets to me. I should check that.
