Dad's home from rehab

bex77My dad made it home from rehab this morning!
So that is 5 days in the hospital and 10 days in rehab
since he broke his hip. It is amazing the progress he's made.
The physical therapist couldn't figure out how to get him
into their big old Chrysler yesterday, except for him to
sprawl across the back seat unsecured, so I took off from
work this morning, and drove my mini-van over to Brighton.
We had no problem getting him into the front seat, and put
all his new equipment into the back. He made it into their
condo, slowly but easily going up the couple of stairs and
down the hall with his walker.
A big thanks to everyone for their support the past
couple of weeks. I hope life will be calmer now.

at another church, with Dad able to walk with his walker, so I feel like
they are back to their normal life. After only six weeks! Amazing.
