We were pleased to see the big "Grand Opening" banner and discover that the replacement for Mifune has opened in Arlington Center. It's called Fusion Taste, and has basically the same menu of Chinese, Japanese and sushi. They've added a full bar, but otherwise it is the same. You can order delivery through Foodler. They said they've been open two weeks.

We ordered the much-missed rock shrimp tempura. It is such a treat - medium shrimp with a light batter and spicy sauce over greens and tomatoes.
We shared the special "Arlington Maki" a tasty combination of shrimp tempura maki with cooked scallops and a creamy sauce with scallions. It was huge.
We had the hot & sour soup, which is on the vinegar-y side, and the miso.
Then the entrees: beef with mushrooms, and the duck with eggplant and mango. Yum.
The servers and owner are all new. They each came over to tell us their names and ask ours and where we're from and be sure everything was going okay.
It is pricy but feels worth it once in a while. So good to have access to these special dishes and sushi again!
