Obama says he will end the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy.

Date: 2009-10-11 10:13 am (UTC)Of course, that's exactly what he said a year ago. And it was a more compelling promise when he made it as a candidate than when he makes it as a sitting President who hasn't actually made any moves towards doing it.
Still, it beats having a President who doesn't even talk the talk.
Baby steps, I guess.
